Bullworker X5 Multi-Coloured Edition
In late 1995 the Bullworker Europe Company changed it's model lineup to use multi-coloured grips after advice from an advertising consultant. The range was adapted to include a range for Juniors, Ladies, Men and Seniors. Although the model was physically the same unit it now came in 2 different spring strengths. These two models were then further defined by 4 different colours of hand-grips.
THE MULTI-COLOURED GRIP variants of Bullworker have now been discontinued and replaced with the new BULLWORKER GOLD.
The old Coloured models
YELLOW being deemed the colour of choice for men (?!?), this model had the a 100% spring. The 80% spring was fitted to the remaining models and these were released with three different coloured grips green for children, Purple for women and Blue for Seniors. Another difference from old version of the X5 was the satin finish to the power meter tube. It also only has a single connecting strip on the straps on each side.
To clear stocks a limited edition batch of colour handled X5's were released with a BLUEGRIP and a 100% spring strength. This was the last of the coloured grip series. The last official bullworker coloured grip model was manufactured in January 2007.
These models with coloured grips had a few teething problems with some reports from forum users of the units sticking or wobbling. Several thousand coloured bullworkers were manufactured and most were shipped to catalogue companies or online e-tailers. A small percentage were sold direct from the bullworker website.
The new Bullworker range
New for 2007 Bullworker Europe aligned it's product lineup with Bullworker USA. Manufacturing was switched to the same Japanese company used by Bullworker USA for creation of the BULLWORKER X5 GOLD. More expensive to manufacture but the build quality and finish is the best yet made by Bullworker. Sales are bouyant and the Bullworker community is once again buzzing with enthusiasm.
The range now includes the excellent BULLWORKER X5 GOLD and STEELBOW was launched.
The old 2005/6 series of coloured grip bullworkers are still available from some shops/stores that are holding last years inventory of old stock.
